Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Coachbase account and using the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use Coachbase.

Coachbase is for adults. You must be 18 or older to create an account or use the service.

2. Not medical advice

Coachbase provides fitness and wellness coaching powered by AI. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting a new exercise program, especially if you have a medical condition or injury.

Coachbase is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. If you have urgent symptoms, contact a doctor or emergency services.

The AI-generated programs and recommendations are informational only. You exercise at your own risk.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You may not share your account with others or use Coachbase for commercial purposes without our permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to abuse the platform, attempt to reverse-engineer the AI systems, scrape data, or use Coachbase in any way that violates applicable law.

5. Credits and subscriptions

Coachbase operates on a credit-based system. Credits are consumed per AI interaction. Subscription plans provide monthly credit allocations. Credits do not roll over between billing periods unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice.

6. Subscriptions bought in the app

Coachbase Pro bought in the iPhone or Android app is billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) to the account you use there. Plans are monthly or yearly. New subscribers get a 7 day free trial; if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before it ends, the plan price is charged when it ends.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

You can manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings; deleting your Coachbase account does not cancel a store subscription.

The price and billing period are shown before you confirm a purchase. If you buy a plan during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends when you buy.

Refunds for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.

For purchases made in the iOS app, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time via settings. Deletion is permanent and happens straight away; we keep payment records, as tax law requires, usage counts that no longer identify you, and a one-way code, kept for 2 years, that stops a second free week, a second free program or the launch price. A Coachbase Pro plan bought on our website is cancelled right away when you delete your account. A store subscription is not, as section 6 explains.

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Limitation of liability

Coachbase is provided "as is." We are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damages arising from use of the platform or AI-generated recommendations.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll notify you of significant changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
